Have you Seen Madeleine?

26th April 2012

http://findmadeleine.com/home.html      Check their website.

I presume we all know the story of Madeleine, (if not please check their parents web site) the police in UK have just updated a picture as shown, and her parents are pushing high profile publicity again. And because of our blog sites, Facebook, Twitter and other social sites. We can all help by publicising, posting or re-posting what ever, and if Madeleine is out there someone might see, and report. And we can only try to repatriate parents and daughter. Hope my little bit will lead to bigger and fruitful results.  Thank you.

Madeleine McCann

This is a new age-progression image of Madeleine, commissioned by the Metropolitan Police.

Madeleine was born in May 2003 – a long-awaited and very much longed for little girl. She lives in the village of Rothley in Leicester, with her mummy and daddy and little brother and sister, Sean and Amelie.

Madeleine is a very happy little girl with an outgoing personality. She has always been a very popular little person, appealing to both children and adults alike with her funny and engaging chatter. She has many friends who obviously miss her dearly. Despite her young age, it often felt like Madeleine had been on this earth before.

Like most girls her age, she likes dolls and dresses (and anything pink and sparkly) but with a definite taste for action-adventure too! She has an incredible amount of energy and even as a little baby, didn’t seem to need much rest. She enjoys running and swimming and is an Everton fan like her mum and grandad.

Madeleine has always been a wonderfully loving and caring big sister to Sean and Amelie. It was certainly not the quietest house on the planet with lots of giggling, singing and the inevitable odd bit of mischief! For Sean and Amelie, there is without doubt, a very important person missing in their life.

Madeleine is a warm, life-enriching little person and will never fail we’re sure, to bring joy into the life of anyone she may encounter.\

  1. Now I know why your wife fell in love. Thank you for posting this.

Not to start another debate about reblogging let me just say that as a rule I don’t. But this kind of awful news and need to be told and shared everywhere is reason enough to break my own rule. Thank you again. My heart is with these kids every night when I go to bed. Wondering….

  2. Reblogged this on Lady Barefoot Baroness and commented:
As most of my readers know I am a CASA. This is where my true passion has always laid with children.
This stiry, this beautiful smiling precious angel’s stort needs told. It needs to posted here, on your blog, even print it out and post it at work.
The pwer pf the press is amazing yes? Just think what the power of WordPress can do?

    1. Exactly Baroness, that was my hope, if all my followers re-blogged or re-posted then in a few days this would go to thousands all over the world. America, Australia, India, Europe. plus Facebook and Twitter. Thank you a big Thank you…;)

    1. It is a sad topic, but with this media we all have access to, might help, if one does not try then we will never know. Appreciate your participation. Hope this is the start of bigger things,..;)

  3. I remember this story when it first aired on the television. It was so sad to see the parents suffering and in the public eye. I could not blame them. It was a great way to get the word out there. BUT – so sad that time has gone forward with no clues. It is a horrible thing for a parent to have to endure. I sure hope she is alive and that one day she will be found. So nice of you to showcase this. God Bless her family …..

  4. Like everyone here, I remember hearing about this disappearance and watching Greta Van Susteren reporting on the investigation in those early weeks and months. When I saw this post’s title in your sidebar Gerry, I was hopeful a sighting or some new lead had come about,…so sad that is not the case. I hope and pray for her and her family.

  5. It was the 5th anniversary of her disappearance. and the police believe they have some new leads, Her parents are more than usual optimistic. With these posts hope we can do our little bit. Thanks so much for your comments, always welcome..;) Fingers crossed…
