Man of many talents has been awarded  a birthday by the queen. He has now got to work out what all this means. Birthdays are a very rare occurrence in his life. However he has been advised to invite and let as many people as possible know of this massive event. So he is asking all you wonderful people of the blogging world to join in on his celebrations………

Birth of the New Prince. {Short Story}

Once upon a time, many years ago, a beautiful princess, by the name of Ninon, gave birth to her third child prince. She and her husband lived in a modest castle in the heart of  a wondrous forest. The forest had many beautiful and magical creatures roaming freely, some dangerous, some beautiful and some were both.  Princess Ninon had another three children, two more Princes and one princess.  All her children’s names are Geof the oldest, then came Gray, and then Gair. After a gap of five years Valerie was born then Malc and lastly the outcast Nige’.

Well, I say, if you got the time, then I got the money, well not really but I have some YouTube videos for you to enjoy, if that is what we can call it. And if it is your birthday today tomorrow or when ever you  visit my site then here it is   ‘Happy Birthday’

Apparently Disney released Robin Hood on this date. It was not  a cartoon.

  1. Okay, I’m not sure I’ve done the math correctly, but I’m going to say you are 52, born in 1960. If I’m not exactly right, I know for sure I’m close. And I LOVE the title of your blogpaper!!! Very creative idea, Gerry.

    1. Your maths is 8years out. But good try, you can re-sit this test any time you wish…
      That title ‘Daily Gerald’ I am thinking of starting a new blog and posting news articles etc, or rename this one. Haven’t made my mind up. might throw it open to opinions..

      1. 8 YEARS!?!?! HOLY COW!!! And to think that I made A’s in math in school! I would try to say that it was the leap years that messed me up, but there weren’t enough of them to make me 8 years off. And it’s so hard to tell age by someone’s picture. Well, that’s what you get for giving us a whole lot of numbers jumbled together and making us figure it out for ourselves.

      2. Yeh, it is so true about photos, the one on my gravatar with sunglasses is me at 48, I do not have many of me, I take pictures and very rarely in them. Those numbers were from a web site so not sure if they are right,,,hope you liked though and enjoyed…thanks

  2. Hey, Gerry, I made you a birthday card. Now, if this were Facebook, I could post it on your page, but with these blogs, I don’t think there is a way to post on someone else’s page — except in the comments. So I just made a special page on my “By the Book” site and put your card on it so that I could send you the link. Feel free to copy and paste the card onto your own page — or save it to your pictures and post it from there to your page — if you want to do so. And feel free not to post it to your page if you don’t want to. I’ll leave it up as a special page for this whole week. That way if some other visitors to my blog see it, they may come over to visit you. Here’s the link to your card:

    1. Sandra have visited your lovely page and left my message for you. Cannot say thank you enough for your wonderful gesture. Have copied and pasted it and will do a page honouring your kind thoughts and actions.. also shared it on Facebook and Twitter. Always welcome and caring. 😉

  3. Woo! Go Gerry. Happy Birthday! Joyeux anniversaire! I’m guessing that since you’re not a dog, you must be 59. But that can’t be right because your photo shows that you’re about 39. And you have a teenage daughter. (I know, a man can have a teenage daughter in his eighties…) Hope your day is a GOOD one.

    1. Trish, you are right, I have a son from 1st marriage whose birthday is tomorrow and he is 30. My marriage now together for 25 years, had decided not to have children and ten years in we have a beautiful daughter. That picture you see is of me but not at 39 but 48. Oh, by the you are also right in as much I am not a dog. You are a very perceptive person. Than you so much for your visit and lovely words….Always welcome and caring. 😉

  4. A very happy 60th birthday G. I’m not sure doing maths before breakfast is a good idea, but I got there in the end after deducting the leap year days:D Enjoy it whatever you do.

      1. Sounds great! Glad you had a good time. Birthdays should always be spent with those we love and who love us, if at all possible.

    1. I am very very impressed. This must have taken a little while to comment. Saying Thank you seems so trivial but will however say a very BIG THANK YOU. I am humbled and really do appreciate your time and thoughtfulness and the especially the effort you put into all this. Thanks again. PS had a good day with family and weather was also good… 😉
